We love our former board members and appreciate the time they have dedicated towards helping LRPL be a success. We believe their contribution to La Raza Pre-law Student Association at UC Davis should be honored and it's a great way for continuing students and members to get in contact with them for questions, advice, or networking opportunities.

"I love LRPL because it is my home away from home and all the members have become my close friends. I feel as though this club teaches me a lot whether it is leadership skills, important law school information, and how to be a well rounded person in general."
Carol is from Los Angeles, CA and enjoys paint ball shooting, arts & crafts, reading, and spending time with her nephews.
Human Development Major, 2018
Saul Andrade, Academic Chair
"When I think about why I love LRPL it comes down to the question, what does LRPL mean to me? Before joining LRPL I had a lot of doubts whether a future in the legal field was possible. Growing up in a field worker community where a lot of the youth did not pursue higher education, especially law school made me question my abilities. LRPL is a place where I learned to believe in myself and made me grow not only as a student but as a person as well. Believing in yourself is easier when you are surrounded with other Latinos who are in the same journey as you. I had a really great experience being involved with LRPL but most importantly I love that I was able to meet some of the most wonderful human beings who I consider my second family."
Saul is from Lindsay, CA and enjoys having philosophical discussions at bars, reading philosophy, attending world music festivals, cooking (especially grilling), eating tacos de al pastor and most importantly spending time with friends and family.
Philosophy Major, 2016
Joshua Ochoa, Secretary
"I love how diverse and friendly Davis is. Its fun meeting new people from different backgrounds and learning about their cultures. You dont really get to see such diversity back from my hometown, so coming to Davis was a big change for me and I love it. I'm proud to be an Aggie!"
Joshua is from South Gate, located in Southern California and enjoys exploring new places in NorCal, trying different kinds of food, and meeting new people!
Chicana/o Studies and Spanish Double Major, Minor in Education, 2018
